This estimate is based on drawings provided by engineer. The scope of work includes, drilling and installing concrete reinforced piers, footings, and concrete retaining walls with concrete stairs. It includes all labor and material to complete the work as per the itemized Scope of Work below.

Scope of Work

Mobilization and Layout
• Mobilize to jobsite with track equipment and other necessary equipment to complete job.
• General Contractor to provide layout
• Daily Cleanup
• Final Cleanup

Piers
• Excavate bench for installation of wall and piers.
• Drill nineteen (19) 18” diameter x 14 ft. deep piers per plans and specifications S1, A/S1, B/S1 and C/S1. Final depths to be determined by soils engineer. See hard rock drilling conditions.
• Drill seven (7) 18” diameter x 19 ft. deep piers per plans and specifications S1, A/S1, B/S1 and C/S1. Final depths to be determined by soils engineer. See hard rock drilling conditions.
• Install nineteen (19) 18” diameter x 14 ft. deep concrete reinforced piers per plans and specifications S1, A/S1, B/S1 and C/S1.
• Install seven (7) 18” diameter x 19 ft. deep concrete reinforced piers per plans and specifications S1, A/S1, B/S1 and C/S1.
• Pier spoils to be removed by others. No off haul from site.

Concrete Footings
• Excavate for footings per plans and specifications S1, A/S1, B/S1 and C/S1.
• Install approximately 157 linear ft concrete reinforced footings per plans and specifications S1, A/S1, B/S1 and C/S1.
Concrete Retaining Walls
• Install 8 inch thick shotcrete concrete reinforced retaining walls a maximum of 3.5 ft tall per plans and specifications S1, A/S1, B/S1 and C/S1.
• Finish walls with smooth steel troweled finish.
• Approximate square footage 625.
• Include approximately 625 sq. ft of Miradrain on retaining walls.
Concrete Stairs
• Install concrete reinforced stairs per plans and specifications S1 and 1/S1. Approximately 14 stairs with 17 risers.
• Install concrete reinforced stairs to replace existing stairs up to street. Approximately 9 stairs and landing.
Drainage
• Include approximately 160 linear ft of 4” perforated pipe SDR 35 surrounded in drain rock behind retaining wall wrapped in filter fabric per plans and specifications S1, A/S1, B/S1 and C/S1.
• Final exit for Perforated pipe to be handled by others.

Concrete Parking Pad
• Install approximately 230 sq. ft of concrete reinforced parking pad on grade with broom finish. Parking pad is to be reinforced with #4 rebar 18” o.c.
Qualifications and Clarifications
• Job is bid as package unless agreement to otherwise
• Includes one mobilization only
• Prices are subject to adequate supply of wood, steel, rock, concrete, asphalt, PVC resins, PVC pipe, fittings at prices quoted at bid time and are good for 30 days.
• Proposal is based on working std 40 hours per week, 5 work days and mutually agreeable schedules.
• All spoils to be handled by others. No off haul of any spoils.
• All backfill and compaction to be handled by others. No backfill or compaction.
• All concrete demo to be handled by others

Exclusions

• Cost of plans, permits, bonds, testing and inspections.
• Increased cost of drilling or excavation due to hard rock, underground water or caving soils. (Hard rock drilling is defined as a penetration rate slower than 1 ft. in 5 minutes.) (Hard rock excavation is defined as material that cannot be excavated with a conventional backhoe or excavator bucket.)
• Any work on utilities including buried pipes or irrigation pipes.
• Replacement of damaged landscaping, driveway or fence.
• Off haul of any dirt spoils (all spoils to remain on site for backfill or off hauled by others.
• Excavation and off hauling of hazardous materials, underground tanks, or materials unacceptable at dumps.
• Removal of any trees
• Additional drainage not specifically outlined in this proposal.
• Electrical or Plumbing
• Backfill or Compaction of any soils not outlined in this proposal.
• Importation of backfill material except as noted.
• Pavers or stone on walkway or walls.
