This estimate is based on architectural drawings and structural drawing. The bid is for the installation of new reinforced concrete elevator pad/footing + walls as per plans.
Our price includes all labor and material to complete the work as per the itemized Scope of Work below.

Base Bid – Pier Installation + Concrete Work
Scope of Work
• Mobilize to job site. Supervision.
• Excavate for the installation of new elevator foundation as per plans. Off-hauling of drilling spoils from site by GC.
• Drill and install (2) 18” diameter x 22 ft. deep maximum reinforced concrete piers as per plans. Off-hauling of drilling spoils from site by GC.
• Install new elevator reinforced concrete foundations as per plans. Includes Paraseal and Miradrain 6000 drainage panels as shown on drawings. Terminate sub-surface drainage line at lower corner of new elevator pad. Final outlet of new sub-surface drainage by GC.
Alternate #1-Drilling operations only
• Drilling operations only (16 hrs. maximum + mobilization included). Spoils handled by GC as well as removal of spoils from site. Quote includes (2) man drilling crew only.
Notes
• Elevations, secured batter boards and surveying to be provided by General Contractor performing the remainder of the project.
Qualifications and Clarifications
• Job is bid as package unless agreement to otherwise
• Includes one mobilization only.
• Prices are subject to adequate supply of rock, concrete, asphalt, PVC resins, PVC pipe, fittings at prices quoted at bid time and are good for 30 days.
• Proposal is based on working std 40 hours per week, 5 work days and mutually agreeable schedules.
• Progress payments every two weeks.
Note: This bid assumes contractor will be performing services as a Sub-contractor to a General Contractor. Bid assumes contract will utilize standard contractual provisions. It reserves the right to accept or reject General Contractor’s contractual provisions.
Exclusions
• Cost of plans, permits, bonds, testing and inspections.
• Increased costs of excavation or drilling due to hard rock, caving or underground water. (Hard rock excavation is defined as material that requires the use of pneumatically or hydraulically operated hammers or rams to excavate). (Hard rock drilling is defined as a penetration rate slower than 1 ft. in 5 minutes).
• Earth shoring or structural shoring.
• Off-hauling of spoils from site.
• Soft or hard demolition.
• Any work on utilities including buried pipes.
• Drainage or waterproofing work not mentioned in our scope of work.
• Excavation of hazardous materials, underground tanks, or materials unacceptable at dumps.
• Removal of trees or stumps from site.
• Architectural concrete, color concrete or any type of special concrete finish product.
• Supply of embedments other than foundation “J” bolts.
