Installation of new foundation on zero clearance lot in San Francisco, where excavation undermined neighbor’s foundation.
It was necessary to underpin neighbor’s foundation with hand dug piers, before excavation commenced. Then a new foundation with retaining walls was installed using shotcrete.
New foundation was ready for home construction, free of earth settlement issues with neighboring properties.
Problem: Need to expand deck area over water at Tiburon restaurant
Solution: RWR drilled and installed under-water concrete piers reinforced with galvanized cages
Result: Successful completion of project.
Landslide into corner of residence in Marin
Removal of slide debris. Installation of new soldier beam retaining wall and reconstruction of hillside
Owner was able to reoccupy their home, and property value was restored.
