This estimate is based on architectural and structural drawings, structural drawings and a grading plan which includes drainage detail. The scope of work includes drilling, installing concrete reinforced piers, grade beams, concrete retaining walls, slabs and drainage. Our price includes all labor and material to complete the work as per the itemized Scope of Work below.

Scope of Work
Mobilization and Layout
• Mobilize to jobsite.
• General contractor to provide Layout. Contractor is not responsible for any errors as a result of layout.
• Daily Cleanup
• Final Cleanup

Piers
• Drill twenty seven (27) 18” diameter x 11 ft deep maximum piers, ten (10) 18” diameter x 18 ft deep maximum piers and eight (8) 18” diameter x 15 ft deep maximum piers per plans and specifications S2.0 and 8/S4.1. Final depths to be determined by soils engineer. See hard rock drilling conditions.
• Install twenty seven (27) 18” diameter x 11 ft deep concrete reinforced piers, ten (10) 18” diameter x 18 ft deep concrete reinforced piers and eight (8) piers x 15 ft deep concrete reinforced piers per plans and specifications S2.0 and 8/S4.1
• Additional cost per foot installed. No Deduct.
• Off haul of pier spoils from site.

Grade Beams
• Excavate for grade beam and footings approximately 658 linear ft. Use Grade Beam Schedule on S2.0. Off haul spoils from site.
• Install concrete reinforce grade beam approximately 658 linear ft. per Grade Beam Schedule on S2.0.

Retaining Walls
• Install concrete reinforced retaining walls approximately 112 linear ft of retaining walls a maximum of 8 ft high per plans and specifications S2.0 with appropriate detail. Walls are a maximum of 1 ft thick.
• Install concrete reinforced stem walls approximately 234 linear ft a maximum of 6 inches thick.
Drainage
• Include approximately 827 sq. ft of Miradrain 6000 on back of walls per plans and specifications for drainage.
• Include approximately 827 sq. ft of Paraseal on back of walls per plans and specifications for drainage for water proofing.
• Install a rock pocket per plans and specifications L2.0 and 7/L-5 next to house a maximum of 1ft thick x 1 ft wrapped in Mirafi 140N filter fabric or equivalent per plans and specifications.
• Include approximately 250 linear ft of 4” perforated SDR 35 pipe capturing a maximum of eight downspouts and 4 surface drains per plans and specifications L2.0.
• Include approximately 22 linear ft of tight 6 inch pipe behind home connected to 20 ft of perforated 6 inch pipe for dissipation.

Slabs

• Install in interior of house 436 sq ft 10” thick concrete slab, over 2” sand, over vapor barrier membrane (maximum 6 mil) and 6” of crushed rock base. Reinforcement to be #4 rebar at 36” o.c. each way (top) and #4 e.w. @ 12” o.c. (bottom).
• Install in interior of house approximately 1300 sq ft 6” thick concrete slab, over 2” sand, over vapor barrier membrane (maximum 6 mil) and 6” of crushed rock base. Reinforcement to be #4 rebar at @ 12” o.c.

Note: This bid assumes contractor will be performing services as a Subcontractor to a General Contractor. Bid assumes contract will utilize standard contractual provisions. It reserves the right to accept or reject General Contractor’s contractual provisions.

Exclusions
• Cost of plans, permits, bonds, testing and inspections.
• Increased cost of drilling or excavation due to hard rock, underground water or caving soils. (Hard rock drilling is defined as a penetration rate slower than 1 ft. in 5 minutes.) (Hard rock excavation is defined as material that cannot be excavated with a conventional backhoe or excavator bucket.)
• Any work on utilities including buried pipes or irrigation pipes.
• Replacement of damaged landscaping.
• Embedments into concrete other than foundation bolts. General contractor to provide and install all brackets. General contractor to provide all hold down bolts.
• Excavation and off hauling of hazardous materials, underground tanks, or materials unacceptable at dumps.
• Additional drainage not specifically outlined in this proposal.
• Topping Slab
• Electrical or Plumbing
• Backfill and Compaction of any soils not outlined in this proposal.
• Importation of backfill material except as noted.
• Earth Shoring
• Steel Posts
