This estimate is based on structural drawings The bid is for the installation of a new reinforced concrete house foundation as per plans. This price includes labor and materials to complete job as per the itemized scope of work listed below.

Scope of Work
Structural Sheet S2.1
• Mobilize to site, on site supervision.
• Demolish and remove from site the existing sections of house foundation as highlighted on the drawings.
• Install combination of post, driven pipe pile and crib towers with temporary beams to support main floor of house and raise existing first floor of the house to new elevation.
• Excavate for and install new reinforced concrete grade beam foundations as per layout and structural details on sheet S2.1.
• Includes drilling and installing approx. (270) epoxy dowels to tie new slab/footing to perimeter existing foundations as per plans. (Other dowels not related to concrete embedments are not included in this bid)
• Remove shoring system after house is re-supported on new walls (4 weeks maximum after foundation is poured).

Notes:
• Elevations and layout to be provided supervised and approved by General Contractor or person acting as project supervisor.

Qualifications and Clarifications
• Job is bid as package unless agreement to otherwise.
• Includes one mobilization only.
• Prices are subject to adequate supply of rock, concrete, asphalt, PVC resins, PVC pipe, fittings at prices quoted at bid time and are good for 30 days.
• Proposal is based on working std 40 hours per week, 5 work days and mutually agreeable schedules.
• Progress payments every two weeks.

Exclusions
• Cost of plans, permits, bonds, inspections and testing.
• Any work on utilities including buried pipes.
• Increased cost of excavation due to hard rock, underground water or caving soils. (Hard rock excavation is defined as material that cannot be excavated with a conventional backhoe or excavator bucket).
• Soft demolition.
• Off-hauling of any demolition debris other than mentioned above.
• Hardware, hold-down bolts or any other embedment’s other than foundation bolts.
• Repair to landscaping or irrigation.
• Drainage or waterproofing.
• Cost of surveying if needed.
• Excavation of hazardous materials, underground tanks, or materials unacceptable at dumps.
