Estimate for Pipe Piles for Re-support of Existing Pile
This is an estimate based on shop drawings by Structural Engineering. The estimate is for excavation around an existing pile, installation of pipe piles, dowel into existing grade beam and pile, installation of reinforced concrete capturing new pipe pile and dowels. Our price includes all labor and material to complete the work as per the itemized Scope of Work below.
Scope of Work
Mobilization and Layout
• Mobilize to jobsite.
• Layout to be provided by on site supervisor
• Daily cleanup
• Final cleanup
Demolition and Excavation
• Demo existing concrete slab as identified (approximately 3 ft x 3 ft)
• Off haul debris from site.
• Excavate next to existing pile approximately 3 ft x 3 ft x 3 ft.
Pipe Piles
• Install two (2) 3.5 inch O.D. pipe piles x 55 ft deep maximum per plans and specifications .
• Piles shall be driven to refusal with final depth to be determined by soils engineer.
• Pipe Piles to be steel galvanized and include bearing plate per plans and specifications.
• Include ¾” Threaded Rod with nut on end per plans and specifications
• Fill Pipe with Concrete except for top 6 ft
• Fill top 6 ft with Master Builders Masterflow 928 Grout
• Additional cost per foot installed is equal to $55. No Deduct
• Note: Shop drawings and other criteria as outlined in note #4 of Pile Cap Detail (3) are additional cost.
Concrete Beam
• Install approximately 37 dowels per plan and specifications
• Install concrete reinforced gradebeam capturing pipe piles approximately 3 ft x 3 ft x 3 ft per plans and specifications Sk1, Sk2 and Sk3.
Note: This bid assumes RWR will be performing services as a Subcontractor to a General Contractor. Bid assumes contract will utilize standard RWR contractual provisions. RWR reserves the right to accept or reject General Contractor’s contractual provisions.
Qualifications and Clarifications
• Job is bid as package unless agreement to otherwise
• Includes one mobilization only
• Prices are subject to RWR obtaining adequate supply of rock, concrete, asphalt, PVC resins, PVC pipe, fittings at prices quoted at bid time and are good for 30 days.
• Proposal is based on working std 40 hours per week, 5 work days and mutually agreeable schedules.
• Assumes this work will be performed in conjunction with other work being performed for Rocco.
